Water Biscuits
The water biscuit has always been a favourite with the cheese eating public for its texture and taste, complimenting the sometimes delicate flavour of cheese and at the same time being able to hold its own with the more powerful flavours.
Here at Stag Bakeries we produce a water biscuit that has all the expected properties of the biscuit with a little extra something giving it a great taste and texture. Baked to give a crisp finish, the biscuit still retains a certain flakiness that makes this biscuit fairly unique in character and a delight on the palette, and is free from artificial colours and flavours.
This winning combination of flavour and texture was born out in the 2003 Great Taste competition?s Savoury Cheese Biscuit category, where we won the Silver award, having previously gained a Bronze award in 2002.
