Oatmeal has a long history of usage as a food product in Scotland.  Because oats are better suited than wheat to the short wet growing season in Scotland it became the staple grain of this country.

They are now recognised to be an enriching and healthy product. It is reported nowadays that oats with their prolonged energy release and high content of carbohydrates and fibre encourages slow digestion and stabilises blood glucose levels.

A crumbly flaky oat biscuits rich in flavour and oat roughage. Nutty enough to eat on its own yet accommodating enough to allow added accompaniment, the more to add to an individuals enjoyment.

This richness of flavour and excellent eating quality was recognised by the judges of the Great Taste Awards when they granted this product a Silver Award Certificate in 2006.
